You can delete your BANJARA APP account at any time. This page explains what gets deleted, what we may need to keep, how long it takes, and how to start the process.
Heads up: Account deletion is permanent. Once deletion is complete, your profile, photos, reels, matrimony details, and history cannot be recovered. If you only want a break, consider deactivating instead.

1. How to Delete Your Account
Option A — In the app (recommended, fastest)
Open ProfileFrom the bottom navigation, tap your profile tab.
Open SettingsTap the gear icon in the top-right of your profile.
Tap "Delete Account"Found under Settings → Account.
Enter your mobile number to confirmThis is the same number you used to log in.
Confirm deletionOnce you tap "Delete permanently", deletion is initiated. You will be logged out immediately.
Option B — By email
- Email [email protected] from the email address associated with your account.
- Use the subject: "Delete my account"
- Include:
- Your registered mobile number
- Username (if you remember it)
- A short statement: "I request permanent deletion of my BANJARA APP account."
- We will verify the request, send you a confirmation link, and complete the deletion within 7 business days.
2. What Gets Deleted

3. What May Be Retained (and for how long)
A small set of records may be kept for limited periods, only as required by law or to protect the safety of other users:

4. Processing Timeline

5. Deactivate vs Delete
If you're not sure you want a permanent deletion, you can deactivate instead:
- Deactivate hides your profile from other users and pauses your activity. You can reactivate any time by logging back in.
- Delete is permanent. We cannot restore the account, the photos, or the reels.

6. Active Subscriptions
- Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a Play Store / App Store subscription.
- Cancel your subscription separately through Play Store or App Store first, otherwise it will continue billing.

7. Request Your Data First
Before you delete, you can request a copy of your data:
- Email [email protected] with subject "Data Export".
- We will share a download link within 7 business days.
- The export covers your profile, matrimony details, posts, reels, and message history in a portable format (JSON + media files).
8. Coming Back Later
After permanent deletion, you can create a fresh account with the same mobile number after a 30-day waiting period. The new account will start from scratch — old followers, matches, and content will not carry over.
